The Mimara museum is rather boring although the building itself is very nice. It basically houses the private collection of Wiltrud and Ante Topic Mimara.
The majority of the collection is non-Croatian, so if you are expecting to see Croatian art and historical items, you won't see a lot here.
I would reccommend using your time in Zagreb to see another museum such as the Zagreb City Museum or the Archaeological Museum.
