This house is where a group of 20 men decided to declare some independance for Lithuania. It has plenty of historical significance. We were expecting the entrance to be round the back from what our guide books seemed to tell us but we went in through the front door. We got slightly puzzled reception from the 2 women sat there. I don't think they were expecting anyone to want a look that day (it was getting late!) It was free to go in, and we had a personal guided tour in English by one of the 2 ladies. It was really fascinating to learn of the history of the place, and its importance to Lithuania. It is definitely worth the visit!
