Great food-manager worse than the 'soup nazi'

First night we got to La Provence-we walked in straight to the dining room and were ignored for 5 min. People were sitting at tables and the food smelled great. The server looked at us and said nothing. Eventually we approached him asked for a table. He waved us away and we left. The next night we had a reservation-we walked in the manager met us. He looked at the list and couldn't find our name so he started pushing us to the door. I asked if it was under the hotel's name and he found it and offered us a table. What followed was great food and wine. The food was french fusion-top notch. We watched the manager kick out 6 more groups of people in spite of the fact that only half the tables were full. You need a reservation!!! The basement had seating too-very cool. Enjoy.
