Food was nice, service ok,

I found the atmesphere a bit sombre and not very cheerful. But the house is well kept and tastily renovated. I sat next to the pool that looked a little opaqe, and I would feel funny using the pool while restaurant guests are sitting around, however that is a very typical Indian feature. The house is a little dark, but again, that is local traditional style, so I can't complain about it.

Nice atmosphere - Food Good

Next door to the 'Old Harbour' the food not quite as good as the Old Harbour, but then it is slightly less expensive. Clean, service very good.

Really good food!!!

We're not in love with all kinds of Indian food, and much of that is due to our inability to read the language to know what we are ordering. There is no problem with language at Koders as everything is translated for you, and the wait staff is generous in helping you understand anything you want to know about ingredients and preparation of food.

Fish curry - out of this world

We were staying at The Old Harbour hotel next door to Koder for 2 nights and we dont like to dine at the same place twice - very glad we didn't. The food at the old 'harbour is very good and dining in the garden lovely but the Seer Fish Curry at Koder was easily the finest most unusual curry I have tasted and I have had a few! the room , ambience etc are nothing special but I will remember that curry for a long time.

Expensive and not so good food. Don't bother.

We stayed next door at the Old Harbour and decided to have lunch at Koder House one day. We were very disappointed in the food. We had 1 Chicken Shahi Khorma and 1 Veg Khorma with 1 Basmati Rice and 1 Paratha plus 1 small packaged water. RS 777 for two and the surprise was they added Tax and Service Charge (7%) which very few other restaurants did (not the Old Harbour) We found the food bland and tasteless even though we had ordered spicy. Right off the dining room is a tiny pool, and we spent our lunch watching a lady swim back and forth (about 3 metres) The service was good though.
