Beer with a new twist, and it is fabolous!!!!!

Unique cosept where you get served what you see they make. I was surpised how special it was, and how good it was. A real beer with a freshness and taste that really got to you.

This is a pub which only serves beer they make themselves, on site. In fact, you can see the brewing room from the pub itself. Norwegians usually only drink "pils", a type of light lager; however, here you can choose from a range of different brews. "Oslo pils" is available, they also offer "Steamer", a slightly fizzy bitter, "India Pale Ale", a strong, non-fizzy beer, thick, creamy stout, and various seasonal ales. The "JuleoI" (Christmas beer) is exceptional. I don't know of any other place in Oslo which can offer this kind of experience. Mikrobryggeriet (it means the small brewery) is expensive, but how nice to drink "real" beer in comfortable surroundings.
