Great tour! You follow 2 Irish musicians to 3 pubs around Dublin as they perform traditional Irish songs for you. Our tour guides were Anthony and Eugene. They were great. Very talented musicians with a very clever Irish sense of humor. Our favorite evening spent in Dublin!
Alot of fun!

We all met at the Oliver St. John Gogarty pub in Temple Bar for the ?TRADITIONAL MUSIC PUB CRAWL?.
We were escorted upstairs to our own private bar, where the 2 locals chatted, played some jigs, and gave us a feel for their music.
The group of us strolled over to the Ha Penny Bar for more music and fun....again in our own private room.
These guys were GREAT.... and easy on the eyes, as well!
Walked across the Millennium Bridge and ended up at Brannigan's Beer Emporium.
It was a very pleasant couple of hours.... the performers were alot of fun!
great music, but more of a concert and educational lesson than a crawl

I would sum this up by saying it is not a true pub crawl. It is more of a concert and educational lesson that changes venue part-way. The same musicians played at each pub. To me, "pub crawl" means you hear different musicians at each pub. In this event, the same musicians travel with you to the pub and play in a different setting. Each pub has a room reserved for the group.
They say it?s three pubs, but really it?s two. You start at one pub, and they count that as one of the three, but you don?t hear any music there. They say to arrive at 7:00 for the 7:15 tour, but we didn?t leave until 7:50. When I checked in at 7:00, they said to be ready to go at 7:40. No need to rush. The last bar you go to is in Temple Bar, and it?s smaller than the second stop. Try to get in early in your group, so you can get a seat. You spend one hour in the second stop, about 8-9pm, and then another hour in the final and third stop (9-10pm). If you are musical, think about a song you can sing to the crowd. At the last stop, they open the floor to their guests to sing. Overall, it?s a great experience. A highlight of our trip. We learned about music and Irish instruments. Larry and Joe were our musicisans ? excellent!
did i miss something??

Cannot understand how this is rated no 2 for things to do in dublin, were we missing something??
For a start one of the 2 irish musicians was from Nottingham!
And the other Irish Musician looked thoroughly bored and sleepy.
The pubs had no atmosphere -we were in rooms upstairs that resembled a village hall. The evening never got going and you can better free entertainment in any pub in Dublin . All in all a great disappopintment and a waste of 12 euros. Thoroughly enjoyed Dublin though!
Tons of Fun!

My husband and I had a lot of fun on this Pub Crawl our first night in Dublin. You can purchase tickets in advance from the Tourist Information Center on Suffolk Street. You can also purchase them at the start of the tour, but it books up fast and you may be turned away. The cost is 12Euros each. The Crawl starts at Oliver St. John Gogarty's Pub in Temple Bar. From there you follow the musicians to the Ha' Penny Pub for the first musical performance of the night. After that there is about a ten minute walk to the next pub which is off of O'Connell Street. Each pub has a special room reserved for the Crawl. The musicians were very good, entertaining, and funny. This is a must when in Dublin! Tons of fun!
