Traveler ReviewsChina's first excavated Imperial tomb (and teahouse)

Wang Jian was the first emperor of the short-lived Latter Shu dynasty (following the Tang). You can enter the tomb itself, and there are three display rooms of artifacts from the tomb (unfortunately two were damaged in the May 2008 earthquake and are closed for the time being).
Also of interest, there is a nice teahouse on the grounds, which is like the teahouses in the city parks (lotus pond, ancient architecture, bamboo furniture, mahjong), but far less crowded. Only a few of the neighborhood's elderly seem to know about it. So, it is a nice peaceful place to relax in the city.
