Had dinner there on Saturday. We sat outside. The atmosphere was great. Lots of people out on this side street. Music in the background. Our server was pretty polite. The food was OK. Didn't feel anything special about either the service or the food. Nothing bad happened. Nothing particularly good either.

We ate here twice! The specials change daily , absolutely delicious food and excellent value for money. The informal atmosphere and friendly staff made us feel very relaxed and welcomed.

Four of us ate here during a recent weekend break. The number of restaurants in Brussels is overwhelming, so we looked at the the reviews on tripadvisor and chose this one just off the Place du Sablon. We were not disappointed. The food was all home made and prepared to a high standard. I'd recommend ordering wine by the carafe. The Chianti is very drinkable. The service was friendly and informal. Well worth trying out this restaurant, particularly on a Sunday evening when many of the decent restaurants are closed.

My wife and I had a date night tonight at Toscana 21 and were very impressed. Pro's: Ambiance/Hospitality that was fun and not too stiff, Food quality was top notch, Servers were all part of the family - so cared a lot and described the dishes nicely. Good value (especially if you stick with the house wine). Con's: None. Give it a try!
