We went there last Thursday evening: we were four people and ordered a combo dish to taste different flavors: meat, fish and veggy. We were not impressed but ate most of it.
The next day we were all sick because of the food!

Delicious food served by excellent staff in a vibrant atmosphere. Definately better if there is a group of you as it is very much a 'shared' eating experience. Shall return again when next in Brussels

i've been to Kokob on romantic evenings with my partner, with family, groups of friendsa and larger groups of colleagues. Not once has it failed the great first impresssion and expectations.
Ethiopian gem. Close to the real thing.

Always anxious to enter a restaurant with a non-local cuisine when I visited the country of the cuisine extensively and to be disappointed by the food served. Kokob did not let me down at all. Just a short walk from the basic tourist restaurants around town hall square, they serve authentic and very well prepared Ethiopian dishes. OK, there are differences with the food served in Ethiopia, but it is close to the real thing. The menu of injera, doro wot, key wot, etc. was excellent. Eating in the traditional Ethiopian way with a piece of injera in my fingers taking food from a big plate remembered me of the hospitality and atmosphere of many restaurants in Ethiopia. Highly recommended.
Friendly, lots of variety, and good for vegetarians

Meals begin with a fruity drink compliments of the house. We enjoyed a nice combination of lentils, green beans, cheese and spinach, and beets with potatoes. Everything was absorbed with spongy injera bread. We also tried our first Ethiopian beer with the meal. The setting is very exotic to match with the lovely food. All sorts of people were at the restaurant on a Friday night, and everyone looked quite happy.
