generous portions of delicious salads

We had 4 hours to wait before our eurostar departure - it was a monday- museums closed and raining heavily! we decamped here for a leisurely lunch- a huge chicken salad, a stuffed mushroom salad and delicious pinot by the glass. waiters were friendly and we were never hurried. great value . would return

A colleague and I were in Brussels this week and selected this restaurant based on cost and proximity to our hotel (the restaurant is across form the entrance to the Gare du Midi). We were so impressed that we ate there all three nights in town! I had the Salad Chatelain, with chicken, gouda cheese, apple and mixed greens. She alternated between the grilled chicken breast and rumpsteak, either one came with a potato option and a small green salad. For both of us with small beers or cokes, the bill was between 28 and 33 Euros. Excellent value for the money- the portions were generous for continental Europe and the staff was great. You never felt rushed to leave the table when you finished the meal. Menu is available in English, or you can be brave and get it in French! We didn't have room for dessert but the menu looked tempting! The outdoor seating area was lovely in the warm weather!

J'y vais regulierement car pour l'endroit c'est le meilleur rapport qualite/prix.. La cuisine est bonne et parfois surprenante.
