Fun Family Activity

Our family of 3 recently decided to take the Countryside tour. Our 16 year old is in great shape but we, his parents rarely bike. This was not a problem. There are no hills, plenty of stops, beauftiful scenery and the humor and knowledge of our guide, Jos made for a very special afternoon. This is an absolutely wonderful way to see the Brugge area!

My bike tour in Brugge was the highlight of my weekend city break. (I forget my guides name, but he was the owner.) He was from and lived in Brugge and I think that makes for the best guides. He was very knowledgeable about the city and the history of Belgium. He had a great sense of humor and did not tell a whole bunch of pot smoking jokes like some of the other bike tour companies I have been on tours with. He was very friendly and helpful and made suggestions on where to eat after the tour (which by the way were also great). One of the best bike tours I have been on. Will defiantly do it again. (Do this on your first day in Brugge and then rent a bike and ride around on your second day by yourself!)

Best way to see Bruges, hands down. Our guide, Jos, was knowledgable about the city (a native) but presented the information with a touch of humor so that everyone on our tour couldn't stop smiling. We did it in the rain, but that didn't stop us from having a great time. You'll hear some of the history of Bruge, its churches, and some extra information that will help you find your way around all those crazy canals and make the most out of your stay. Did I mention that you stop for a beer, a free one? Do the tour; you won't regret it!

Really loved this tour. Tour consisted of a small group of 14? led by Steve, a local university student studying art. Seeing Brugge by bike was perfect ("When in Rome") and I feel like I wouldn't have had the same perspective or experience if I hadn't biked around the city. Between the buses and horse carriages at the beginning of the tour, you do need to be very careful when crossing the streets. The physical aspect of the biking was very easy and was designed to be easy for us tourists. They make frequent stops and provide a lot of great history about the city with a humorous delivery.

Our trip with Quasimundo Bike Tours was fantastic, we laughed the whole time but found out so much about this beautiful city in such a short time it really was something that we were 100% glad we did. Our guide Jos was fantastic and he took the time to ensure everyone was ready to go, that we were fine along the way and even extended the tour so we could all enjoy ourselves along the way without having to hurry. We had a perfect group who were all fun and it was great to socialise with people from other countries over a beer at the end. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone that goes to Bruges and we are even going to do the Boarder by Bike tour when we return (which we definitely will). Jos you are a legend and your tours are fantastic... we hope you enjoyed your concert on Sunday night!!!!
