Not only do you receive a beer at the end of this tour (and it's cheap; only 5.50 total) but you also get a bird's eye view of the city! Definite must while in Beligium, one of the best country's for a cold pint.
Best Brewery Tour ever

We went to De Halve Maan for the brewery tour, and wound up going back every day during our vacation. We thought the tour was just wonderful. Our guide was very funny and charming, and it was the most unique and interesting brewery tour we have ever taken. The Bruges Zot is delicious (and only available unfiltered at the brewery) and the Straffe Hendrik was once of our favorite beers from our vacation. Definitely stop in for lunch and take advantage of their wonderful kitchen. The food is just as tasty as the beer!
Fun and charming brewery tour, plus great beer!

This brewery tour was lots of fun. My husband is a home brewer so he really enjoyed it. They have lots of historic brewing equipment and bottles in addition to the modern equipment they use. The view from the roof top is great so if you don't feel like climbing the Belfort, this is a good alternative. The Bruges Zot is a tasty end to the tour. You'll want to order it elsewhere in town once you try it.
A must see - good value tour in Brugges

The Brewery Tour is one of the best value attractions in brugges - 5.50 Euros which includes a free drink (for children the price is reduced). The tour runs on the hour and is about 45mins and gives an overview of the brewing industry within Belgium. Out tour guide really made this particular tour, with a lot of banter and amusing tales. There is also a fine view of the city from the top of the brewery. One word of caution is that there are some fairly steep steps to climb down, where they suggest you should go backwards which may not be suitable for all. Otherwise, if you have any interest in Belgian beers and the brewing industry this is a great way to spend some time in Brugges and is also very good value.
Great experience with a good guide, all in all a good place to visit

The brewery is a must when you visit bruges. It has several tours during the day and has the added possiblity to eat lunch if you decide to visit around lunchtime. The guides are very friendly and quite knowledgeable. The tour takes roughly an hour and ends out in the bar where you test their own homemade brew. Inside the brewery there are a fair few stairs and they are not for people who suffer from extreme vertigo, as some of them are quite steep and you can see through the gaps when walking up or down. But if you like me dont want to miss out, it is well worth overcoming the fear for just an hour or two.
