No Theme Park Resort Will Ever Be The Same!

Tokyo Disney Resort as a whole is simply stunning. It is so much nicer than the American versions, as the park is much cleaner and of a higher quality. Tokyo DisneySea itself has a lot of really high quality rides and attractions. Indy Jones, Raging Spirits, Tower of Terror, Journey to the Center of the Earth, Venetian Gondolas and Stormrider to name just a few. They also have a lot of attractions for children. Mermaid's lagoon is chock-full of attractions that cater for children under 10. They have plenty of dining options too! I recommend trying the Pork Gyoza, it is wonderful. We were at the resort for 2.5 days, and spent 1.5 days at DisneySea. It is a brilliant resort and we would've liked to stay longer. What really makes the park special is the theming. Each zone is made to look like a harbour in some part of the world, and they have provided very expensive models to make it look realistic. Stay for BraviSEAmo! if you can. It is a great evening show followed by fireworks. I really loved this park, and I hope that you will be able to visit soon. If you want any more information on the park, please message me.

DisneySea - Absolutely Stunning - A Tokyo Must-Do

Just returned from a wonderful 2 week vacation in Japan where we spent an entire day at the wonderful DisneySea Park. I cannot begin to say enough how terrific this park was. My family and I are big fans of Disney (we've been to Orlando's Disney Resort Parks a number of times, as well as Disneyland in California and Euro Disney in Paris) and DisneySea is by far our favorite. It is the cleanest of all of the Disney Parks that we've been to (which they were all extremely clean - but DisneySea is beyond all of them. ) I agree with many of the other Tripadvisor reviews - this park is geared towards older kids and adults. If it weren't for the various Disney character merchandise in the park shops and the character meet and greets and Mickey Mouse appearing in the park's awesome shows, you really wouldn't know you were in a Disney Park. Many of the rides are totally different than the other Disney Parks, with the exception of Tower of Terror and Indiana Jones, and these rides have different twists to those in the states. As for the prices inside the park - we didn't think they were too bad. Pretty much on par with those in the states or less. We went to the park on a Wednesday and arrived around 12:00 noon and stayed to about 9:30 p.m. and the crowds were very low. The longest wait time for a ride was 20 minutes and that was for Indiana Jones. However, later in the afternoon, we didn't have a wait at all for that ride. As for the park's shows, the two we saw were terrific. BravSEAmo and The Legend of Mythica, and my entire family agrees that they were the 2 best Disney Shows that we have ever seen. However, we felt that the evening fireworks were medicore, but we chalk it up to the fact that the Disney Parks are within a the large metropolitan area of Tokyo and that the fireworks couldn't be as elaborate as the fireworks done in Orlando where Disney has tons of land (we think the firework shows for the Magic Kingdom's Pirates and Princesses party are the best fireworks we've seen). So if you are going to be in Tokyo, Japan for at least a few days, I highly recommend DisneySea if time allows - even if you've been to Disney in Orlando or California - you won't be disappointed.

Lovely place to visit

Tokyo Disneysea is a wonderful place just like other Disney places, it just has a nautical theme. Disneysea is only in the Japanese language. You can pick up an english map but all of the rides, shows etc are all in Japanese, which I believe is where it differs to other Disneylands. I have heard that other places like Hong Kong Disney do speak in English as well as the national language. If you are catching the bus from your hotel you do not need to get there before the gates open, we did and we stood out in the cold for 1.5 hours and really gained nothing. There are fast passes at Disneysea but you can only get one at a time.

I had a wonderful time in tokyo disneysea. it was awesome. There were loads of shows and rides and the place was beautiful. The only set back was that everything is in japanese, even the shows. otherwise i had a wonderful time. A must see is the show braviseamo. its a fight between fire and water. really incredible. never seen anything like this before. I love disneysea... and i love tokyo... want to go back again.. The Most Beautiful Theme Park in the World

Simply the most beautiful and well run theme park in the world. The staff puts US Disney parks to shame and the food is outstanding. A hotel, Hotel Mira Costa, at the park entrance is the best place to stay and well worth the price. Even if you hate theme parks, and the idea of visiting a US designed park in Japan turns your stomach, this is truly a Japanese experience.
