We visited Tastys which was recommended to us by our cabbie. Boy did he hit the nail on the head. Very pleasant atmosphere. The prices were much more reasonable than some of the other restaurants that we visited and yet the food was much better than most. It was good to see not only tourists but locals as well eating here. The lobster creole was great!!

We enjoyed our dinner at Tasty's. The conch seviche did not dissappoint. I also had the seafood salad for dinner (was listed as an appetizer, but portion was perfect for dinner).
Great service, beautiful restaurant, delicious food, good value. We are also interested in breakfast here- from what I saw of the menu it looks fabulous.
Fantastic Local Food

The only restaurant where you can get conch: it's delicious served seviche style with a salad. All the salads at Tasty's are wonderful: had the goat cheese salad: it was large enough to be my meal. My husband had the conch creole and coconut dumpling: just know the dumplings here are not like what you might be used to: they are flat, square, and a bit doughy. Desserts not as good...but food is excellent.
Lunch at Tasty's

The best lobster I've ever had in the Caribbean. Perfectly cooked. The ribs were good but not exceptional compared to the lobster. The owner/chef is very personable and this was the busiest of all the places we ate lunch during the Dec. 13 week (which was very quiet on the island). Fair prices for an expensive island. They have a Caribbean buffet dinner Thursday nights with jazz.
International Talent in Local Anguilla-style Bistro

Tasty's is one of those places that even the local Anguillans love. It's adorable, tasty and well priced. Chef Dale is extremely talented and very humble. He's traveled and cooked internationally yet he retains a gracious charm, coming out to chat with customers. My husband is gluten intolerant (celiac) and Chef Dale made sure he'd have something tasty and safe. We had lunch and the first day, he had the salad with sea bass--he said it was the most incredible sea bass--so fresh and the sauce was so delicate. I had the fresh tuna on the salad--the basil dressing was incredible. We were sad we could not make it back for dinner, but managed to make it again for lunch on the way to our ferry back to St. Martin. The gran mariner french toast is to die for---best french toast i've ever had--so tasty without being overly eggy---a perfect balance of flavors. Then I actually had the fresh tuna salad again! I wanted to make sure I had my fill before leaving the island. We actually shared it, as my husband had lovely eggs for his breakfast. Tasty's is a wonderful experience and very fairly priced which is nice. Absolutely worth stopping for at least 1 meal!
