In my opinion this museum is just okay. I call it an artist's art museum, because while it does have a lot of beautiful art, the museum doesn't try to make it very accessible to someone who doesn't know a lot about art history like me. You have to read those laminated museum cards as there is no text describing the works on the walls. While this may be more aesthetically pleasing, it really sucks after a while.
The museum itself is really nice - the inside is really nice and lends itself to the display and viewing of art.
Another thing about this museum is the staff - I don't know what it was, but for some reason they staff in this museum made me really uncomfortable, something which I did not experience in any of the other museums on my France trip. First, a lot of them are talking and socializing together, and I don't think there's a standard uniform so it's hard to tell that they work for the museum. The way they look at visitors also doesn't seem very welcoming either.
